Plan your shift income
Estimate Lagos Life base income for full shifts, subtract rent, other costs and entered deductions, and review a transparent balance for one planning period.

Estimate a selected role's base wage across completed shifts, then subtract the costs you enter for that same period. The result is a planning balance, not a guaranteed in-game payout.

Plan your shift income
Estimate base income for completed shifts. Enter all costs and deductions for the same planning period.
Completed shifts, manual costs and deductions are totals for the entire named period. Changing weeks does not multiply those manual totals. Weekly helpers are available only for game-week plans.
Budget for 1 game week
- Base income
- ₦58,000
- Costs & entered deductions
- ₦0
- Planned balance
- ₦58,000
₦11,600 × 5 completed shifts − ₦0 costs = ₦58,000
Rent ₦0 · other costs ₦0 · entered deductions ₦0 · LAPO repayment ₦0
A base-pay estimate: no automatic bonuses, partial shifts, promotions or taxes. Enter deductions yourself; the game’s weekly tax depends on cumulative earnings.
All amounts are in-game naira, with no cash-out value.
Select your career and the level you intend to model. Level one means the entry role; higher levels are useful for a future comparison only when you understand their progression requirements. The calculator does not check whether you have already reached that role.
Enter a whole number of completed shifts. Costs should describe the entire planning period, rather than being entered as “per shift” values unless you have already multiplied them yourself.
Choose a whole number of game weeks or name a custom period. Weekly housing and loan helpers are available for game-week plans. Manual costs and completed shifts remain totals for the entire period; changing from one week to two does not automatically double those values. Review each total when changing your plan.
The calculation
Base income equals base shift pay multiplied by completed shifts. Total costs equal rent, other expenses, entered tax or other deductions, and any separately enabled LAPO repayment. The planned balance is base income minus those total costs. The result shows the named period and a breakdown so you can check which costs were included.
For a custom period, enter rent as a total. For game weeks, you can select a reviewed home to use its listed weekly rent multiplied by the number of weeks. Choose covered rent only when someone else actually pays your character's rent. A home in the selector is a pricing scenario, not proof that you can move there. Prepaid rent or account-specific charges may require a manual total instead.
The optional LAPO helper models the recorded installment against the remaining loan balance you enter. For example, two game weeks at ₦12,000 with only ₦18,000 owed produces a repayment estimate of ₦18,000. Enable it only if this loan applies to your character. It does not model missed payments or changed terms, and the opening balance is only a starting suggestion.
Count each expense once. If you enable the loan helper, leave that same repayment out of other costs and deductions. Switching to a custom period disables weekly helpers and restores your manual rent field; enter the appropriate totals for that scenario.
What the estimate leaves out
The game's reviewed payout logic includes modifiers for completed work, bonuses and qualifications. Tax depends on cumulative weekly earnings. This form does not know your prior income, rewards or account state, so it does not calculate those automatically.
If you know your deductions, enter them. If you expect a bonus, treat it as an additional observation rather than assuming the base result already includes it. The calculator also keeps the selected wage fixed across the estimate; a promotion partway through requires a separate estimate.
Read negative and zero results
A negative balance means the costs you entered exceed the modeled base income. It is not an error to keep the negative result visible. Zero completed shifts can still leave a negative balance when rent or other bills are due.
Blank fields and invalid values do not silently become zero. The form asks for a valid non-negative amount, and rejects fractional shift counts. A zero cost is valid when you intentionally do not expect that expense.

All amounts are game currency. The official terms do not give virtual naira a cash-out value, and this tool does not provide real-world investment advice.
